Curb Appeal
Begin with the exterior of your house, also called your curb appeal. Examine the exterior of your home from a street view. What jumps out at you? What awesome features seem waiting to be noticed?
Knowing this helps us to decide what steps we can take to entice buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't the best it can look on the outside with refreshed paint and colorful garden plants we'll need to address those issues. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your home's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Can buyers picture themselves watching a movie in your living room, relaxing in your master bedroom or studying in your home office? We want your home to welcome buyers and give them a sense of easy living. We can help you do this by suggesting changes that highlight the features of your property.
We'll suggest that you put in storage anything that gives the look of clutter. Tabletops should be cleared off. Arts and crafts, sentimental items, family photos, and kids' artwork should get moved out of sight. You need to give mass appeal to the home so buyers can picture it as their new home.
Our team will look over each room of your home. We'll note the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need new paint, rugs needing to get changed, fixtures that need polishing, and any other improvement that can inexpensively be made to positively impact the sale.
With our team by your side, you'll know that your house has mass appeal and that it's comfortable, steering clear of "loud" or "can't-work-with" colors on the walls and furniture. Also, if the house is empty, you can consider renting furniture. The goal is for your home to look inviting as opposed to empty.

Setting the Stage
The entire time your house in on the market, we want to capture buyers' attention.
Dark living areas can really dampen a buyer's spirits, so we'll do things like part the curtains and add lighting where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together, we'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and ensure a delightful aroma circulates throughout your home. We'll make use of cozy-looking throws, and pillows on your sofa and bed. Buyers should feel like your house is their future home. |
